The Forward Lean (Table)

Say this to the subject
“Sit tall at first, then let your shoulders soften. Lean forward at a table, clasp your hands under your chin, and look down tensely. Keep your eyes downward at table surface.”

Photographer cue: Sit at the table and lean far forward, resting your elbows on the surface. Clasp your hands tightly together and press them against the underside of your chin. Raise your shoulders into a tense shrug. Keep your feet flat on the floor but engage your leg muscles so they appear tensed. Cast your gaze downward at the table as if lost in serious, stressful thought.
