Jacket-Turn Energy
Say this to the subject
“Start still, then make one clean, unhurried movement. Open stance, turn the ribs, catch the jacket edge, eyes away. Keep your eyes away.”
Photographer cue: Plant both feet in a loose open stance, then rotate the ribs as if you have just completed a small turn. Catch only the edge of the jacket with one hand, let the other arm fall freely, and take the eyes away in the direction of the movement.
